This is a description of how we envision a workday for you as a design engineer when we are up and running with production in our own workshop.

At Lyftnord in Kiruna, you shape your workday according to your own needs. You come in when it suits you, but always make it to our daily pulse at 8:45 where we check in on the day's tasks. At 9:00, we gather for a shared breakfast – a moment for both energy replenishment and team building.

The morning can involve different activities depending on where you are in the process. Some days you sketch solutions and perform strength calculations at the drawing board. Other days, you take a walk to the workshop to see how your designs are taking physical form, discuss manufacturing possibilities with our technicians, or solve challenges that have emerged during production.

Around noon, it's time for lunch – sometimes we eat together at the office, other days we go out somewhere as a group, or everyone chooses their own lunch adventure. After lunch, you might have a video meeting with a client where you present your solution and get direct feedback that you can implement that same afternoon. At 2:00 PM, we gather for a short afternoon break with coffee and informal problem-solving.

Throughout the day, you have the opportunity to move between the office and the workshop, see your ideas become reality, and solve problems in real-time.
