Lyftnord specializes in developing and manufacturing safe, customized lifting solutions of the highest quality. With our expertise in design and manufacturing, we help industrial customers solve complex lifting challenges. As a design engineer with us, you'll be involved in the entire process – from concept to finished product – and see your designs become reality in our workshop in Kiruna.

We are a growing company with big ambitions and are now looking for a driven design engineer who wants to contribute to the development of both our products and the company as a whole.

Your Profile

Qualifications

• University education in mechanical engineering, or a high school education in mechanical engineering with at least 5 years of experience as a design engineer.
• Experience in mechanical design and knowledge of 3D software.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical ability and experience in technical problem-solving
• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Driver's license is advantageous but not required.

Advantageous qualifications

• Experience in strength calculations and FEM analysis
• Experience in designing lifting equipment or other industrial products
• Competence in project management and experience in driving projects from concept to finished product
• Experience in customer contact and ability to communicate technical solutions

Job responsibilities

• Mechanical design and CAD work for customized lifting solutions
• Direct contact with customers to understand their needs and present technical solutions
• Technical problem-solving and strength calculations (training provided if needed)
• Project management from customer inquiry to delivery of finished product
• Development of products ranging from small lifting yokes to advanced electrically controlled systems
• Collaboration with production to ensure optimal manufacturing processe
