About the Position
Your workplace will be Lyftnord's workshop in Kiruna, where we develop and manufacture safe lifting yokes of the highest quality adapted to customer needs. Here you will be involved in the entire process – from idea to finished product – and see your designs become reality.
We are a growing company with great ambitions and are now looking for design engineers who want to contribute to the development of both our products and the company as a whole.
For those who want to relocate to Kiruna, we offer financial support and fresh accommodation to rent initially.
Your Profile
Qualifications
- University education in mechanical engineering, or a high school education in mechanical engineering with at least 5 years of experience as a design engineer.
- Experienced in mechanical design and knowledge of 3D software.
- Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Must have Swedish work permit or be eligible to work in Sweden.
Driver's license is advantageous but not required.
Advantageous
- Experience with strength calculations and FEM analysis.
- Experience in designing lifting equipment.
- Project management skills.

Job Duties
- Mechanical design and CAD design for customized lifting solutions.
- Technical problem solving and calculations (training provided if needed).
- Close collaboration with production and customers to realize ideas.
- Development of products ranging from small lifting yokes to advanced electrically controlled systems.
